Evaluations
Initial evaluation is a flat fee of $350.  Consultations beyond the initial evaluation are $100.00 per hour.

When material is first submitted, a prepayment of $200 is required.

In all cases the writer will receive detailed editorial and comprehensive notes.  This will be followed by one or two phone conversations.  Phone time's billed at the same hourly rate.

The Process
Price: $1,000.00. This service runs as short as 3 months, or in some cases as long as a year. This is an extremely personalized process that keeps the writer in communication with me at all times. For those of you that procrastinate, I encourage you to consider this service.

We communicate frequently, both by phone, email and fax. Specific assignments are given, as well as even more specific deadlines. The end result: a detailed 70-90-page outline laying out the entire piece, scene by scene. 

This will give you the confidence to complete the writing process. It also eliminates 1-3 rewrites at the back end.

The process includes comprehensive notes, page-by-page notes, and editorial notes on the manuscript.

The price for all Book Editing is $1,500.00.

Shipping
All clients will be billed for returned materials. Clients may choose to send a self-addressed, US Priority Mail envelope as a low-cost alternative.
The Writer Bank Account
Since many of my clientele choose to work with me over long periods of time, I have established a bank account. For $800.00, the hourly fee is reduced to $90.00 per hour. This is cost effective when you have one or more scripts, or you're working on a novel. All the other charges are deducted from the bank account until there is a zero balance. This seems to work well for writers who have an on-going relationship.
Payment Terms
All outstanding balances are due net 30 from your monthly statement date. A 0.049% interest charge will be applied each day for all past due balances. This rate is equal to an APR of 18% (about 1.5% per month). A $5.00 fee will be incurred for all returned checks due to insufficient funds.
